A former Senator that represented Anambra Central Senatorial Districts, Chief Ben Ndi-Obi has called for more interventions to save Nigerians from hunger and starvation resulting from economic turmoil across the country.

Correspondent, Chinelo Onwuzulike reports that Chief Ndi-Obi who stated this in Awka, noted that while people are waiting for things to get better, more households are going without foods on daily basis while the prevailing insecurity is greatly undermining the scope of farming and food security thereby shrinking economic growth and stability.

He called on the federal government to look inwards and review strategy on reversing the narrative through viable policies that will stimulate economic growth, end insecurity and reduce hike in food prizes as well as find permanent solution to farmers and cattle rearers clashes.
