People from all walks of life trooped out at St Mary’s Catholic Church Field Aguleri, for the funeral ceremony of Late Ogbuevi Onukwube Ofform amidst cultural and masquerades displays.
Late Ogbuevi Onukwube aged eighty, hailed from Eziagulu -Otu Aguleri,was a farmer and business man who trained his children to be good ambassadors in various field of life including higher institutions, touched humanity as a community leader and was a peace maker.
The deceased age grade and other chieftains in the community were not left out including the traditional ruler of Eziagulu -Otu Aguleri, Igwe Lawrence Nwofia who came with his cabinet members to show last respect, while condoling with the deceased family, Igwe Nwofia advised them to hold unto the legacies of their father.
Other sympathizers prince Tony Ojadi and Chukwukelue Chukwuma said they came to honor the deceased because his son Nnamdi Onukwube described the deceased as man of the people who cared and showed equal love to all who came in contact with him.
While appreciating those who came for the funeral, one of the sons of the deceased, Chief Nnamdi Onukwube, described his late Father as a great man who followed the part of peace and love even as he asked his siblings to emulate the good legacies of their late Father.
