The Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim says his vision for Paul University is to make it one of the best Christian Universities in Nigeria and beyond.
Speaking shortly after he performed the turning of the sod for the building of the Faculty of Financial and Management Sciences, Business Administration and other allied courses being constructed by the Nzekwe family of Umuonaga village, Awka, for the University, Most Reverend Ibezim who is the proprietor of the University while calling for a collaborative effort towards achieving his vision for the University commended Chief Jonathan Nzekwe and Dr Samuel Nzekwe for their determination and called on others to emulate their kind gesture.
Earlier, Chief Nzekwe who spoke on behalf of his brother, Dr Nzekwe said that what motivated the family to embark on the faculty building project for Paul University is their faith, and called on the wealthy individuals to always use their wealth in impacting positively on others.
In a vote of thanks, the Vice Chancellor of Paul University, Venerable Obiora Nwosu while enumerating the moves being made to reposition the institution, described the University as one with balanced education, including morality and prayed God to continue to bless the Nzekwe family, their benefactor.
