Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has called on traditional rulers in the South East region to intensify efforts in fostering unity for the collective good of the region.

 

Governor Soludo during the South East Traditional Rulers Council Delegates Meeting at the International Convention Centre, Awka, stressed the need for unity among traditional rulers and noted that the Igbo society he knows since his childhood has undergone significant changes, lamenting that traditional values and taboos that once bound Ndi Igbo together are gradually eroding.

Earlier, the Chairman, South East Traditional Rulers Council, Dr. E.C. Okeke, praised Governor Soludo for his commendable performance across all sectors of the state’s economy and urged the South East Governors to maintain their collaborative efforts to drive regional development.
