The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua says the 2024 Executive Council retreat organized by the Anambra state government is a step in the right direction.
Speaking to the ABS over the retreat, Chief Igboanua noted that the retreat convened by Governor Chukwuma Soludo will help to hasten the implementation of the Governor’s administration’s blueprint.
The Idemili North TC Chairman maintained that the retreat afforded the participants the opportunity to brainstorm how best to move the state forward, in line with the Solution agenda, and critically looked at areas where there are loopholes with a view to addressing it for onward development of the state.
He noted that Governor Soludo through his policies and programmes since he assumed office has shown Ndi Anambra that he is the best man for the job.
The mayor commended the Governor for numerous life changing developmental projects his government is executing across the length and breadth of Anambra.
According to Chief Igboanua, the free basic education offered to Ndi Anambra has increased school enrollments, as free antenatal and delivery services given to mothers has also reduced maternal mortality and morbidity in the state, thereby raising the health indices of Ndi Anambra.
He promised that they will continue to domesticate all the state government’s innovative policies and programmes in Idemili North for their people to fully benefit from them.
