As part of efforts aimed at strengthening the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Mr Julius Chukwuemeka has met with the Councilors and APGA Ward chairmen in the Anambra East Local Government Area.
The meeting held at the Commissioner’s country home Aguleri, was to form a synergy between the members of the Transition Committee and APGA ward Chairmen for optimal performance.
Speaking during the meeting, the Commissioner who is an engineer listed the achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo across the state including in Anambra East, noted that he is committed to contributing his quota towards the growth of APGA in the Local Government Area.
Mr. Chukwuemeka urged them to synergize and work as a team for the growth of the party and the overall interest of the State, and expressed his readiness to continue working with them
In their separate speeches, the Chairman of all the Ward Chairmen in East Local Government Area, Mr. Okechukwu Iwuoba and the Deputy Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East, Mrs. Ngozi Udeozor, described the commissioner as the best political appointee from the local government so far, and expressed gratitude for his continuous support for the growth of APGA in Anambra East as well as his support to the local government transition committee.
They also extolled Governor Soludo for all his achievements in less than two years in office, adding that the Governor’s second term bid is non-negotiable in view of his developmental strides.
