Mr. Joel Okpala, father to the former US-based Tennis champion, Tania Okpala, who was recently rescued by the Anambra state Government, has expressed gratitude over the kind gesture.
Mr. Okpala expressed the gratitude while interacting with the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs. Ify Obinabo.
Mr. Okpala, while speaking with the wife of the Governor of Anambra state, Nonye Soludo over the phone said that he is overwhelmed with the first lady’s magnanimity , especially as it concerns his daughter.
He thank Mrs. Soludo for offering to cater for his daughter’s treatment and ensure her well-being, assuring that he will do his best as always to support his daughter.
Mr. Okpala, who came along with Tania’s daughter, equally visited the hospital where he reunited with his daughter.
