Stakeholders in Enugwu Village Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area have commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his developmental strides in the state, and Nanka in particular.
speaking to the ABS at Nanka, the Chairman of Ositadimma Development Union, Enugwu Village Nanka, Chief Emmanuel Ezeobi, said the Governor has been consistent in his people-oriented policies and programmes for the benefit of the citizenry and residents of the state, and urged him not to relent.
He commended youths of the area for their unity of purpose, and urged them to key into the “One Youth Two Skills” initiative and other youth friendly policies and programmes of the Governor Soludo administration in order to become employers of labour.
Lending his voice, the Chairman of Enugwu Village Nanka Youths, Mr. Ekenedilichukwu Osisioma, commended Governor Soludo for his good works in the state, especially in Nanka, and for giving youths opportunity in his government.
He appealed to fellow youths to eschew vices, drug abuse and all negative attitudes, and to remain united in supporting Governor Soludo in his development efforts in the state, expressing optimism that promises the Governor made to the community will be fulfilled.
Chief Ezeobi and Mr. Osisioma called on the state government and other concerned individuals to help prevent further destruction of farmlands in “Agu Enugwu Nanka” by herdsmen, regretting that the activities of the herdsmen have increased fear of imminent food scarcity and resultant hunger in the area.
They also thanked an illustrious son of the community, Chief Osita Ezechukwu, and others for their support to the youths of the village and entire Nanka community.
