The leadership of Aguleri Junction Timber and Accessories Market Association has alerted the public on illegal Inauguration of market leaders by some group of persons.
A release signed by the Caretaker Chairman of the market, Mr Kingsley Obadiegwu and his Secretary, Mr Boniface Okagbue informs the public that such inauguration is illegal, null and void and in total violation of government’s directive.
The release recalled that the Anambra State Government under the Ministry of Trade and Commerce had in October 2023 inaugurated a Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the said market pending when an election is conducted and the tenure of the committee has not elapsed.
They advised the public not to allow themselves to be duped through the fraudulent activities of perpetrators of the illegal Inauguration of another market leaders and equally advised those involved to hands off with immediate effect as their activities are in total violation of Ministry of Trade and Commerce rule and the Anambra State Government law.
