The Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, Mr. Ossy Onuko, has paid a working visit to the Transition Committee Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Chief Clems Aguiyi.
Njikoka Council Area is one of the areas within the Awka Capital Territory, and the visit was an opportunity for Mr. Onuko to inspect some of the projects being carried out within the council, especially the commitment and efforts made by Chief Aguiyi and other relevant stakeholders of the local government to regenerate the popular Oye Agu Market Abagana.
Speaking while moving round the market, Mr. Onuko described the situation of Oye Agu Abagana as chaotic and unsuitable for commercial activities before now, describing the efforts made by the Transition Committee Chairman to ensure that the market is properly organized as a welcomed development.
He assured Chief Aguiyi of his support and the expertise of his team in ensuring that physical developments within the market conform with the building codes and regulations of the state government, and made it clear that Governor Chukwuma Soludo will leave no stone unturned in his efforts to build a new Anambra where everyone can be proud of.
The Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, boss enjoined the people of Njikoka to remain steadfast in their support to Governor Soludo, as they will continue to reap dividends of democracy as the Governor has demonstrated enormous leadership capacity in his less than two years in office.
He cited various ongoing road constructions, education development, youth empowerment programs, technovation, security, agricultural revolution as part of the many achievements of the Governor Soludo which has been unprecedented in the history of the State.
Earlier, Chief Aguiyi, appreciated Mr. Onuko for the visit, assuring him that he will do more to improve the lives of Ndi Njikoka and thanked the Governor for giving him the opportunity to render services to his people.
