The Transition Committee Chairman of Ayamelum Local Government Area, Honourable Livinus Onyenwe, says Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration is open to collaborations that would impact Ndị Anambra positively at all times.
Honourable Onyenwe made this known when he received the Agricultural Transformation Agenda Support Programme Phase one ATASP-I in his office.
Earlier, the ATASP-I’s Zonal Programme Coordinator, Dr. Romanus Egba; of Adani-Omor Zone, stated that their visit was aimed at presenting the documents containing the projects they have executed in Ayamelum under the Agricultural Transformation Agenda Support Programme Phase One, as well as to acquaint the local government Chairman with details of the projects so as to strengthen active collaboration with the council for the general good of the agrarian area.
Responding, Honourable Onyenwe lauded the transparency of the ATASP-I, Adani-Omor Zone, and for their thoughtful meeting with him, urging them to sustain the tempo of services to various communities in Ayamelum Local Government Area so as to ensure equitable distribution of dividends of democracy.
He sought the indulgence of the team for an on-the-spot tour of the various projects whose documents were submitted to him.
The Ayamelum Transition Committee Chairman expressed optimism that the Governor Soludo-led government is open to collaborations that would impact Ndị Anambra positively, and assured the ATASP-I team of the unalloyed support of the local government council to their project.
The team and Honourable Onyenwe later visited some project sites, including the ultramodern rice market retail shops and stalls at Nkwo market Omor, rehabilitation of existing pumping stations, intake structures, building works and electro-mechanical works at Ifite-Ogwari, among others.
