A four-day export support training where fifty selected Anambra youths and women in Agro business were exposed to export opportunities around the world and best practices to maximize those opportunities for business expansion, job and wealth creation has ended in Awka.
The training was organized through a collaborative effort of Abuja Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and Anambra State Government.
Speaking on behalf of the participants on the expected impact of the training, some participants, Miss Philomena Ekemezie, Blessing Okeke and Mr. Felix Nduba, noted that the training has sharpened their understanding and minds for more exploits in Agro business, especially in the area of exportation.
They noted that the training has exposed them to export opportunities around the world, saying that they will strive to tap into the opportunities.
They thanked the Abuja Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture as well the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha, for making the training possible and free of cost, promising to remain committed to the economic growth and development of Anambra State.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Omenugha in a closing remark encouraged them to keep embarking on research while practicing what they learnt.
He assured to partner them to enable other small businesses gain from their knowledge for the purpose of stimulating the Anambra economy and promised to help market their products.
Presentation of certificate to all the participants as well as gifts to few selected distinguished participants featured at the ceremony.
