Longevity is said to be a gift from God and a blessing to mankind.

 

That is why the Osajindu family of Okpuno Ireh village Obosi, wasted no resources in celebrating eightieth year anniversary of their mother, Mrs Elizabeth Chigo Osajindu during the Ito Ogbo Obosi 2024.

At their family compound in Okpuno Ire, celebration was on top gear as relations, friends, families, associates and well-wishers gathered to give honour to the celebrant amidst musical display.

 

The occasion was also used to pay homage to the celebrant ogbueshi Elisabeth Osajindu.

Speaking to the ABS, Ogbueshi Osajindu said she is grateful to God for keeping her and her family alive to witness her Ito Igbo and for spending huge resources to celebrate her, praying God to bless her abundantly.

 

Ogbueshi Osajindu prayed for longevity upon all who were at the event to felicitate with her and especially her children.

 

In their separate speeches, the first son of the celebrant Chief Ogugua Osajindu and her daughter Mrs. Nonye Agu said they came all the way from United States of American to celebrate their mother whom they thanked God on her behalf for keeping her alive even as they prayed God to keep her alive in God health.

The event featured cutting of anniversary cake by Ogbueshi Osajindu Flanked by her children and grand-children.
