perpetuate their evil acts. Some of them use their positions to intimidate and corrupt innocent subordinates while giving undue advantage and privileges to members of their group. Some of them are very vindictive, callous and sadistic to those who they think are strong and determined in protecting and promoting the value system of the society.

Most of these people display amorous affection on the internet on daily basis without restrictions especially the cross dressers, attracting thousands of followers, likes, and comments.

This raises a question on effective implementation of some legal framework already in place in the country as no society can achieve stability without enforcing its own laws.

Divine, natural and African Cultural laws are all against homosexuality.

The Bible defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. Jesus Christ upholds this definition of marriage in Mathew Chapter Nineteen, Verse Five as does Apostle Paul in Ephesians Chapter Five, Verse Thirty one .So same-sex practice is specifically highlighted to be sinful and abominable before God.

Similarly, cross dressing is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy chapter Twenty two Verse five and First Corinthians Chapter six verse nine where the Bible condemns men who behave or look similar to a woman. This also applied to women who attempt to behave and look like men.

Cross dressing promotes homosexuality and gives negative perception of life to younger generation.

No man or woman was created by God to be gay. If God created some people to be such, then He will not turn around to declare such behaviours as abominable before Him.

Homosexuality is more of a spiritual problem than psychological and any society that fails to speak out against such unnatural amorous relationship will certainly suffer the faith of Sodom and Gomorrah, maybe in a different way.

With the present situation in Nigeria, the country needs God’s mercy and not His judgement but God does not show mercy on any society that is bent on disobeying Him by condoning what he abhors.

It is only a society that lacks the fear of God that would waste precious time debating on possible merits and demerits of sexual orientation which even animals do not practice.

It is high time Nigeria as a country stopped paying lip service to the anti-gay law and match words with action.

Government at all levels in Nigeria need to rise up, muster the courage, ignore pressures from any quarter and enforce the same sex prohibition law to restore some level of sanity in the social life of the country.

Individuals, groups and organizations in Nigeria, should also join efforts with the government to fight against this canker worm that is fast destroying the lives of Nigerians across all ages.

Those engaging in homosexuality, lesbianism and other sexual perversions, should understand that they were not created that way and should see it as a spiritual problem which only God through Jesus Christ will provide a permanent solution if they accept repentance and build a new life in Christ.

Nigerians and stakeholders should not continue to look the other way at this situation because they are not directly involved, because the evil we condone today will certainly haunt us tomorrow.
