The member representing Aguata 1 constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly Honourable Anayo Okpalaeke has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s two years in the office as quite eventful and worthy of celebration in view of his giant strides in all sectors.
While describing such giant strides as trail blazing, Honourable Okpalaeke stated that the governor’s exceptional performance has entrenched quality service delivery on all spheres of governance and brought dividends of democracy to all the nook and crannies of Anambra State.
Hourable Okpalaeke went down memory lane, x-raying the governor’s exploits since inception of his administration and came to the conclusion that much has been achieved within just two years in the office especially in road development, health, education and environment as well as in agriculture, youth empowerment and human capacity building.
The lawmaker said that governor Soludo’s innovation in such agencies like the OCHA Brigade, ATMA, ARMA and ACDTA as well as ASWAMA is a model as the roads and markets are cleared of nuisance for free business transactions and flow of traffic.
On his part, the President General Anambra State Marketers and Traders Association, Chief Humphery Anuna says governor Soludo has within two years in the office, brought unprecedented development in all spheres of governance in the state.
Speaking to newsmen in his office in Onitsha, Chief Anuna remarked that his two years anniversary is worthy of celebration in view of his administration’s exceptional performance under the period in review.
The ASMATA boss opined that the governor’s policies and programmes and their robust implementation and the innovations witnessed in various sectors shows a governor quite committed and ready to serve his people.
Chief Anuna pointed out that the governor’s job creation programmes particularly the one youth two skills initiative which has provided jobs to over five thousand youths with his five hundred thousand startup funds is a great feat in this present Nigeria’s dire economic situation.
