The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Dr. Anselm Onuorah says the council area is committed to clean, safe and healthy environment especially during this Easter.

 

Dr. Onuorah stated this when he met with members of the Anambra Road Transport Management Agency and the Anambra East Enforcement Team

The meeting according to him was to discuss preparations for the upcoming rainy season and easter celebration, and it equally focuses on the strategies to ensure a clean and safe Anambra East during the periods.

 

According to Dr. Onuorah, effective drainage solutions and comprehensive waste management plans will minimize flooding and maintain a healthy environment for the residents of the area.

He also harped on the need for the two bodies to map out measures to ensure the safety of all road users during the easter celebration, and advised Anambra Road Transport Management Agency and Anambra East Enforcement Team to collaborate in order to keep major roads within Anambra East Local Government Area free of congestion and potential hazards.

 

Dr. Onuorah assured that the area is committed to working together with enforcement agencies and the people of Anambra East to navigate the rainy season smoothly and celebrate Easter in a safe and happy environment.

 

He maintained that the approach highlights their commitment to public safety and environmental well-being adding that what they are doing is in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration’s agenda of entrenching a safe, liveable and prosperous homeland.
