Aguleri Community have unanimously commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s led administration for recording landslide achievements within his two years in office, adding that the community is solidly behind him.

 

They made this known during Aguleri Community Assembly town hall meeting held at Aguleri Civic Centre, Anambra East Local Government Area.

speaking during the event that attracted Aguleri youths, stakeholders, Ndi Ichie and Ndi Ojiani Aguleri, the President General of Aguleri Community Assembly, Chief Ifeanyi Ilokasia who explained that the town hall meeting was to intimate his people about their relationship with the government and their neighbouring communities, eulogized Governor Soludo for being a trailblazer in Anambra state.

 

Chief Ilokasia made it clear that Ndi Aguleri are solidly behind the current administration in the state and listed the revitalization of Otuocha water scheme, ongoing construction of power station at Igboezunu Aguleri, ongoing construction of a General hospital at Aguleri Otu community, restoration of constant power supply to Aguleri and its environs among others as some of the things Governor Soludo has done for their community.

The President General further maintained that Ndi Aguleri are grateful to Governor Soludo for appointing one of their sons, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka as the Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, and commended the Governor for the ongoing construction of over four hundred and fifty kilometers of roads in the state, employment of over five thousand teachers, training and empowerment of five thousand youths with seed grants, free basic education among others and appealed to the Governor to ensure the completion of Aguleri Otu-Aguleri-Uno oil rig road, saying that it is very critical to the development of their community and the state in general.

The Women Leader of the community, Mrs. Patricia Okechi appreciated Ogbuevi Ilokasia and his executive for doing a wonderful job in Aguleri and assured that the people of the community are solidly behind Governor Soludo’s administration for his numerous developmental initiatives in the state.

Speaking on behalf of Ndi Ichie and Ndi Ojiani Aguleri, Chief Paul Onuorah appealed to the Governor to help and complete the Aguleri-Uno-Aguleri-Otu oil rig road, as it is the only road that binds the community together, assuring that Ndi Aguleri will support Governor Soludo’s second term bid.
