The Archdeacon on the Lake Archdeaconry and Vicar, Saint Stephen’s Church Agulu, Venerable Silas Ike said that Easter is all about liberation and freedom from pains and challenges.
Venerable Ike who stated this during a sermon for Easter celebration yesterday stated that Jesus Christ proclaimed that he will resurrect after three days, which signifies that those who worship him have been liberated from fear, pain, shame and death.
He maintained that as Christians anchor their faith and hope in Christ, even if they die, they will resurrect like Jesus Christ.
Venerable Ike, further said that no matter the afflictions, challenges and devilish attacks by the enemies, that God will put them at rest, stating that God will put Nigerians on the right path and asked people to be humble, law abiding and have the fear of God which will help them to succeed in life.
On his part, the Vicar, Jesus Everlasting Evangelical Ministries, Awka, Reverend Isreal Mmadubueze-Izuchukwu disclosed that Christ has risen indeed.
Reverend Mmadubueze-Izuchukwu, further harped on faith, trust and persistent prayers among Christians, saying that for Christ to defeat death, that he has given His children power to overcome and conquer all life challenges.
