It was a gathering of political gladiators and stakeholders in Anambra State and beyond, including people of Orumba North and South Local Government Areas during the thanksgiving service of Princess Chinwe Nnabuife the Member representing Orumba North and South at the Federal House of Representatives, as she appreciated God for her electoral victories at the polls and in courts.
The Thanksgiving service held at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church, Umunze, was presided over by the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor and other Anglican Priests.
In his sermon, Right Reverend Ezeofor explained that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is victory for Christians against all affliction, evil and stagnation, for which Christians must be grateful for salvation gained free.
He charged those seeking leadership positions to accept defeat in good-faith rather than constant litigation and thanked God for the victory granted Princess Nnabuife.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Tajudden Abbas, represented by Mr Sunday Umeha of Eziagu and Udi federal constituency, appreciated the people of Orumba North and South Federal Constituency for the massive support for their representative.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo who graced the occasion, enumerated the efforts of the state government in changing the socio-economic realities of the state especially in roads construction, free basic education and healthcare provision.
Responding, Princess Chinwe, thanked God for His goodness in her life and promised not to let the people of her constituency down, for the confidence reposed in her, and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his giant strides in the state.
Some politicians including the Member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Mr Uchenna Okonkwo, former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Emeka Sibudu, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, and the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South, Prince Neville Uchendu, and traditional rulers also attended the event.
