Hotel Owners, shopping malls and companies in Awka and environs have described the services rendered by O.C Bravo Company, led by Architect Chukwuka Okonkwo, one of the companies working with the state government on waste evacuation and disposal as top-notch, judging from their timely response to waste evacuation.
Speaking to Journalists in Awka, one of the managers of BON Hotel Awka, Mr. Ernest Nwachukwu said that the services of O.C Bravo company are rated very high compare to what others give and described the operations of its staff as professional and urged the company to sustain the efforts towards timely waste evacuation.
The Supervisor of Crescent Spring Hotel Awka, Mr. Ndukwe Umeh-Ukwa told newsmen that it was a terrible situation in the past as the hotel would call for their waste to be collected but it will fall on deaf ears, adding that at a point, they hired some people to help them remove waste from the hotel.
According to him, the emergence of O.C Bravo Company has really changed the status quo because the company does waste collection diligently.
The Manager of 5-Star Restaurant Awka, Mr. Ifeanyi Agbaim, described O.C Bravo Company as very efficient, adding that he has not had any reason to complain about abandoned wastes since O.C Bravo Company took over waste management in the area.
Mr. Agbaim explained that it was hell last year as the company that previously handled waste collection hardly come to pick up waste, even when they would call the company multiple times.
He called on the Anambra State Government to consider retaining O.C Bravo Company because the company, according to him, has restored the confidence of the people in waste management.
