Governor Chukwuma Soludo has hosted the Muslim Community leaders in Anambra State and joined in breaking the daily fast with them.

 

The Muslim leaders led by Alhaji Sani Ejoh who is the Vice President-General of Jama’atu Nasril Islam Anambra State branch were hosted by the Governor at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia

 

After jointly breaking fast with Governor Soludo, the leader of the group, Alhaji Sani thanked the Governor for hosting them and for joining in breaking the fast

 

Alhaji Sani informed Governor Soludo that the primary aim of the Jama’atu Nastril Islam of Nigeria as body is to safeguard and protect the interest of all Muslim faithful in Nigeria.

 

He congratulated the Governor on his two years in office, commending him for his visible projects and infrastructural development across the State

 

Responding, Governor Soludo commended the group for its exemplary conduct as well as congratulated the Muslim community on the successful fasting period

 

The Governor reminded them that the period of the holy month of fasting calls for purification of minds and also serves as a moment of re-awaking to all Muslim faithful.

 

The Governor maintained that Anambra remains a home irrespective of one’s religious belief or inclinations

 

Governor Soludo’s non-discriminatory attitude in leadership was recently exhibited when he appointed a non-indigene from Osun State as a Permanent Secretary in Anambra State civil service aside other several previous appointments given to non-indigenes.
