Late Mrs Nebolisa Buried In Dusogu Village Awkuzu

Awkuzu community in Oyi Local Government Area hosted dignitaries including serving and past government functionaries, captains of industry and others during the burial ceremony of late Mrs. Caroline Uchenna Nebolisa of Dusogu village, Awkuzu.

Late Mrs. Nebolisa was Mother-In-Law to Chief Uchenna Okafor, former Anambra State Commissioner for Trade and Commerce.

The burial, which commenced with a Funeral Mass at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Awkuzu, had Priests and many dignitaries including the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Chief Tony Nwoye, the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honorable Somtochukwu Udeze, Anambra State former Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Chief Uchenna Okafor amongst others who came to pay their last respect to the deceased.

In a homely, Reverend Father Innocent Nweke explained that death is inevitable in the life of every mortal and Christians must learn to be humble in living their life and commended late Mrs. Nebolisa for being committed when she was a teacher and led her Parish Catholic Women Organization, CWO dedicatedly, praying for the repose of her soul.

Speaking after the interment of her mother, Lady Ogechukwu Okafor noted that her mother was a virtuous woman, who used her skills as a teacher in training her children and those around her and whom she also learnt a lot of virtues from, calling on all to live purposefully.

Mr. Amarachukwu Nebolisa and Mrs. Ifeyinwa Akwaya both described their mother as one who sued for peace and a mother to all, giving quality advice to all who sort after her, advising all to live a peacefully, humble and impact-full.

Chief Okafor in his remark thanked those who came to mourn with him and the family over the demise of their mother and prayed for God’s guidance on all.

Others who came to condole with the family including, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Felix Odimegwu, Deputy Chief of Staff, Sir Chinedu Nwoye, former Commissioner for Works, Chief Marcel Ifejiofor, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra State, Chief Emeka Udodieme all condoled with the family and urged the family to keep her legacies alive.

Late Mrs. Caroline, popularly known as ‘Eleganza Madam’ died at the of seventy-six and survived by seven children, while condolence visits from family, friends and well-wishers featured prominently during the event.
