The Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka has expressed gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his investments in education, healthcare and pipe borne water targeted at the betterment of Anambra children.
Engineer Chukwuemeka stated this while speaking to newsmen recently in Awka in commemoration of the 2024 Children’s Day celebration.
The Commissioner appreciated Governor Soludo for his efforts towards ensuring that Anambra children have access to free and qualitative education.
According to Engineer Chukwuemeka, with over eight thousand teachers already employed and the free basic education, the gap between the children of the poor and the rich has been bridged academically.
He also extolled the Governor for making pipe Borne water and health care delivery available for the children and also for the solar powered street lights scattered across the state which has improved night lives, security and economy, which he said have direct and indirect advantages to Anambra children.
The Anambra Power and Water Resources Commissioner equally commended governor Soludo for his award as the best governor of the year 2023 on Infrastructure and Rural Development by Champions Newspapers and the award as the Democracy Governor of year by Leadership Scorecard Magazine recently.
