The immediate past member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, at the National Assembly Chief Chinedu Obidigwe says Anambra State is on the right trajectory in terms of youth development under the Soludo administration.
He stated this on a private Television while speaking on the topic “Assessing Governance and Youth Development in Anambra State”,
X-raying the governor Soludo’s administration in terms of youth involvement and development, the former federal lawmaker made it clear that Anambra is a core example of youth in governance and should be a reference point for other states.
According to Chief Obidigwe, not only that governor Soludo appoints many youths into his cabinet, he is the first governor in Nigeria to train and empower five thousand youths with seed money of over five billion naira in less than two years of his administration.
He disclosed that the current administration in Anambra State has employed over eight thousand teachers and hundreds of health care workers, of which majority of them are youths.
According to Chief Obidigwe, Governor Soludo’s administration is passionate about youth involvement in governance and has done everything possible to make it manifest within his two years in office.
He commended the governor for what he described as unprecedented construction of roads ongoing in all the local government areas as well as his giant strides in the health sector, environment, security, workers welfare, agriculture, science and technology among others, and his campaign for the patronage of made in Anambra products.
