Students from public secondary schools in Anambra State, who scored above three hundred in the recent Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB Examinations, have been asked to go to the headquarters of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission, in Awka for a reward.
The Commission, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu stated this at a forum at Ifite-Ogwari in Ayamelum local government area.
Professor Ikediugwu explained that the reward is to encourage Anambra students to put in more effort in their studies.
She also revealed that in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination, schools will be graded and called on Principals and teachers to be alive to their duties.
Professor Ikediugwu pointed out that plans are underway to visit public mission schools in Anambra State to learn from them what is making them excel in examinations.
She also used the opportunity to commend principals whose students scored above three hundred in JAMB examination urging them to furnish the Post Primary Schools Service Commission headquarters in Awka with the names of their students who scored above three hundred for a reward.
