The President-General of Ifitedunu Town Union, in Dunukofia Local Government Area Dr Uchenna Ufuaro has described the meritorious award conferred on Governor Chukwuma Soludo as best Governor of the year for his contributions to the growth and development of democracy in Nigeria as well deserved.
Speaking with journalists in his office Dr Ufuaro stated that the award didn’t come to him as a surprise because Governor Soludo has performed beyond expectations within two years in office.
The Ifitedunu President-General lauded Governor Soludo’s spectacular performance in education, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, health especially the free delivery services his government is giving to pregnant women in the state.
He commended the Soludo administration for prioritizing the health of Ndi Anambra by employing hundreds of health personnel in the general hospitals across the state as well as upgrading them to referral centres.
Dr Ufuaro pointed out that Governor Soludo is running an all-inclusive administration as Ifitedunu benefited from his road construction projects and appointments and urged him not to relent.
Dr Ufuaro commended the Leadership Scorecard Magazine for setting a pace by rewarding hard work and called on other organizations to emulate them to encourage good governance.
