Traders of Old Motor Car Spare Parts Mgbuka Obosi in Idemili North Council area have expressed joy as Governor Chukwuma Soludo visited the market to interact with the traders and to monitor the progress of road construction going on in the market.
The visit which coincided with the market Monthly Prayer saw a large turnout of traders , top government functionaries and APGA family among others in attendance.
Addressing the traders, Governor Soludo represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol, Chief Chinedu Nwoye said he was overwhelmed by the conduct of the traders and explained that they came to interact with the traders as well as intimate them on the developmental projects within his two years in office.
He used the opportunity to enumerate some of the good works of his administration to include, being the only and first Governor transforming Okpoko Community and gave it a face lift among others,
urged them to continue to assist his administration to actualize his visions for the State.
Speaking to the ABS, the Chairman of the Market, Chief Samuel Effurunwa who expressed satisfaction with the turnout of traders, for the visit, said they have been giving him support and will stopped at nothing in supporting him to get his dreams for the state, promising him total support.
Chief Effurunwa further said that his administration has done much in the market to support the governor especially in areas of boosting security outfit and maintaining the roads among other things.
In separate interviews, some of the executive members of the market including the Vice Chairman, Chief lkechukwu Nzelu and the Secretary General, Mr Ogechukwu Oguagbaka, said that twenty-four Months of Governor Soludo’s administration was full of achievements and good hopes.
The visit featured prayers and dances among other things.
