Governor Chukwuma Soludo has tasked Nigerians on imbibing the significance of the lessons of the just concluded Muslim festival of Eid-el-Kabir.
Governor Soludo who spoke when the Muslim community in Anambra state paid him a courtesy visit at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, enumerated the lessons to include sacrifice, living in unity and faith, among others.
Governor Soludo, who stressed the importance of unity among Nigerians, described it as the country’s strength to build a more formidable Nation, calling for tolerance and harmonious coexistence.
The Muslim delegation who were led by the Vice President General and Chairman, Jama’atu Nasril Islam, in Anambra State, Alhaji Sani Ejoh, described the visit as a traditional homage as father of the State.
Alhaji Ejoh commended Governor Soludo for all the good works of his administration in the State which has resulted to retinue of awards by observers, urging the Governor to continue.
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Barrister Joachin Aneto, Commissioner for Special Duties, Barrister Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche among others were present at the occasion.
