The Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, has revealed that the eleven new laws which received Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s assent recently will strengthen the vision of transforming the state into livable and prosperous homeland.
According to Mr. Ezeajughi, some of the laws will assist in addressing some of the infrastructural and systemic challenges facing the state.
He stated that the present administration is one that respects the rule of law and procedures, and pointed out that in no distant time, Anambra will become a reference in all sectors of the economy.
On the Anambra State Electoral Law 2024, the Chief of Staff revealed that it will enable the state conduct a free, fair and transparent local government elections that will provide solid structures for local governance.
He also commended the Anambra State House of Assembly for expeditious passage of the Anambra State Touting Prohibition Law 2024; Secret Cult Prohibition Law 2024, Health Facilities and Accreditation Agency Law, 2024, and Anambra State Peace Building and Conflict Management Agency 2024, which he said will help tackle all kinds of societal problems confronting the state.
