The emergence of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the Vice-Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum has continued to attract commendations from stakeholders.
In his reaction, the Vice President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said the position is well deserved.
Chief Okeke Ogene noted that electing professor Soludo into the leadership of the Governors’ Forum just a little after two years in office is a testimony of high level of regards and confidence Nigerians and key stakeholders have in him.
He said that the Governor has over the years continued to distinguish himself in various strata of leadership and selfless service to the people.
According to Chief Okeke Ogene, since assumption of office as the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Soludo has continued to full promises made to the people and initiate projects including dualization of keys roads and construction of internal roads in Awka which he noted is fast giving the city a befitting capital status.
He urged Governors of Southeast Zone to forge stronger synergy of unity of purpose and stronger voice in national and international affairs.
Also speaking the National Patron of Anambra Demand for Soludo Chief Henry Igboeli said the Governor’s leadership qualities have continued to distinguish him among his peers and contemporaries.
Chief Igboeli observed that he is using his wealth of experience to change governance and has continued to use available resources to achieve more with less, noting that Anambra has become a reference point of good governance in the country and beyond.
He said with his election into the leadership of the Governors From, Professor Soludo would introduce innovations that would accelerated development in various states while other Governors will learn a lot from his vision and approach to public administration and achievements.
Chief Igboeli commended his sustained efforts towards uplifting the life of the people and launching the state on the course of sustainable development.
