The immediate past member that represented Anambra East Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Pharmacist Obinna Emeneka has called for unity of purpose that will entrench peace and progress among members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the state.
Speaking when the Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Ifeanyi Chinweze, the councilors and other top APGA stakeholders in the area paid him a courtesy call in his Nando country home, the former Anambra State Lawmaker, reiterated the need for unity, peace, and stability amongst all the stakeholders in the Local Government, and appealed to them to set aside their differences and work together for the progress and development of the Local Government Area and the State at large in order to re-elect Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term, and commended the Transition Committee Chairman of the Local Government Area, Chief Chinweze for doing a wonderful job.
Also speaking, the Chief of Staff to former Governor Willie Obiano, Chief Primus Odili, urged APGA members to stand firm against all odds ahead of the forthcoming Anambra governorship election, adding that the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo is a task that must be accomplished.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Chinweze, appreciated the Governor for finding him worthy to serve and pledged to give his best to ensure that Ndi Anambra East feel the impact of the Soludo’s administration.
The member representing Anambra East Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Obi Nweke, equally eulogized Pharmacist Emeneka and pledged to support every initiative that will facilitate Governor Soludo’s reelection.
The immediate past Commissioner for Works in Anambra State, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Ugochukwu Obiefune, Member representing Ayamelum Constituency, Mr. Bernard Udemezue, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Pius Machi, among others were present during the event.
