The Onitsha Unit Co-ordinator of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade, Mr. Ejike Odife has charged those working under the agency to maintain high level of discipline in discharging their duties.

Mr. Odife who is coordinating Borromeo round about, Upper Iweka axis, Niger Bridge Head, Ogbaru Local Government Area and Owerri Road who gave the charge during the weekly parade of the agency in Onitsha, described Ocha Brigade as a paramilitary agency in charge of clamping down on defaulters of environmental laws.

 

He also said that the essence of the parade is to educate their staff on how to handle defaulters, as well as inculcate discipline in them, adding that they choose to have the parade every Monday, to enable all their men to participate to serve the public better.

The coordinator further explained that the parade also enhances physical fitness and improves mental alertness of his men.

 

He praised his staff for their high level of professionalism in their duties, attributing it to series of lectures they receive before moving to the field.

Mr. Odife who felicitated with Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his numerous projects within two years in office, eulogized the State director of Ocha Brigade, Chief Celestine Anere for introducing new innovations in the agency.
