Anambra State Government has approved award of contract for the rehabilitation of the failed sections of Ukwuaki to Ukwuorji Road, off Ifite Road, Awka, by the Anambra Road Maintenance Agency ARMA.
A release signed by the Anambra state Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu said that the job will be done at the sum of one hundred and thirty-three million, seventy-six thousand, seven hundred and twenty-two naira, fifty kobo.
Similarly, In a bid to ensure the safety of workers and safeguard public utilities at Chief Jerome Udorji State Secretariat, Awka, ANSEC has also approved the contract for strengthening the security architecture by approving installation of surveillance cameras and accessories and equipping of the control rooms.
The contract was awarded to Solace Development Company Ltd at the sum of forty-four million, six hundred and seventy one thousand, six hundred and twenty five naira.
It will be completed in eight weeks from the day of mobilization.
ANSEC also approved reconstruction and strengthening of the structural and mechanical barriers, to Intertrek Solutions and Services at the sum of thirty-nine million, thirty-three thousand, one hundred and forty-two naira, fifty kobo, also to be completed in eight weeks from the date of mobilization.
