The Anambra State President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Nicholas Aromeh has eulogized the founding fathers of the state for their steadfastness and ingenuity as Anambra marks its thirty-three years of creation.

 

Speaking to newsmen in his office in Awka, Comrade Aromeh who said that Anambra has had significant progress in all sectors of the economy, commended the founding fathers of the state for their foresight and ingenuity.

 

Comrade Aromeh applauded the gains already recorded by the State in the areas of infrastructure, education, entertainment, sports among others, and maintained that the civil servants in the state have remained resolute over the years.

 

The NULGE President further disclosed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is implementing policies and programmes that will better the lots of Ndi Anambra, as what his administration has recorded within his two years in office is phenomenal in all ramifications.

 

According to Comrade Aromeh, civil servants in the state, especially in the local government system will continue to put in their best in the service of the state to ensure that Anambra continues to show the light among the comity of states in Nigeria.

 

He pointed out that the creation of the new Anambra is the best thing that has happened to the people of the state and described Ndi Anambra as one of the most intelligent, industrious and creative people on earth.

 

Wishing Ndi Anambra a happy anniversary, Comrade Aromeh prayed God to Always give Governor Soludo the wisdom for him to lead the State to the part of economic prosperity, social security among others.
