The women wing of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Anambra State Chapter has held its annual seminar and special prayer.
The event, with the theme “Women: The Real Help,” held at PFN Secretariat Amawbia in Awka south local government.
The seminar emphasized the crucial roles women play in supporting and uplifting their families, communities, and nation.
The event brought together women from various pentecostal churches in different Local Government Areas of the state for a day of spiritual empowerment and intercession for the nation and Anambra State.
In his remarks, the Chairman of PFN Anambra State, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, commended the Women Wing for their tireless efforts in promoting spiritual growth and empowerment.
He emphasized the significance of a woman’s role in her husband’s life, saying that the kind of woman a man marries can either make or break him as he also encouraged them to embrace the spirit of prayer and be mindful of their actions and words, urging them to respect and support their husbands.
Another speaker at the event, Bishop Emmanuel Obiorah, urged the women to rise and be a group of people who will influence their families, churches, and society at large positively rather than negatively.
In a welcome address, the Chairperson of the PFN Women Wing in Anambra State, Mrs. Blessing Ezedebego, praised the wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs. Nonye Soludo for all her initiatives towards eradicating poverty and empowering women to embark on agriculture.
Mrs. Ezedebego further emphasized that the sole aim of the annual seminar is to pray for the state and the nation and to remind the women of the importance of their roles in shaping the spiritual and socio-economic landscape of the country and urged the participants to be ambassadors of peace, love, and transformation.
