The New Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr Christopher Molokwu has assured Ndi Anambra, South East region, Nigeria of a world-class media organis that will compete with its contemporaries globally.
Mr. Molokwu stated this while receiving the handover note from his predecessor, Sir Chido Obidiegwu at ABS Corporate Headquarters in Awka.
Mr. Molokwu assumed duty following his appointment by Governor Soludo and the redeployment of Sir Chido.
Receiving the handover note, Mr. Molokwu who thanked Sir Chido for the successes he recorded in the organization, assured that he will turn ABS around as he is optimistic that ABS is blessed with lots of talents and potential to excel.
He said he will operate an open-door policy and will welcome partnerships to realize the Governor Soludo’s vision for the organization.
Delivery his handover speech, Sir Chido appreciated Governor Soludo for the opportunity given him to serve Ndi Anambra and acknowledged the support he received from the management, Staff and the Soludo administration and expressed optimism that Mr. Molokwu will bring about dynamism and youthful drive to modernize the establishment.
In a vote of thanks, the Director of Legal Services, Barrister Juliet Amasiatu acknowledged that the station had mixed feelings receiving the new Managing Director Mr. Molokwu and bidding farewell to Sir Chido and assured of the full support of staff and management to the new Managing Director.
