Governor Chukwuma Soludo has congratulated Muslim faithful in Anambra State and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid el Maulud festival.

 

In his goodwill message, Governor Soludo described Eid el Maulud as a significant occasion that marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad and serves as a reminder of his exemplary life, teachings, and the virtues of Islam which centered on peace, love, and brotherhood.

 

Governor Soludo, therefore, urged all Muslim faithful to reflect on the Prophet’s message of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.

 

He emphasized the importance of fostering an atmosphere of harmony, understanding, and mutual respect among people of various faith in Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole.

 

Also, the Governor called on the Muslim community to use the period of celebration to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Anambra State and Nigeria, even as they extend their hand of fellowship to the needy and vulnerable in the society.

 

Governor Soludo prayed that the occasion will bring about renewed commitment to the ideals of Islam and contributes to the overall well-being of the society.
