In an initiative aimed at addressing the educational challenges faced by candidates who could not gain admission through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, the Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners UK (CIEPUK), has announced a fifty percent scholarship programme for its ongoing Interim Joint Matriculation Board and Joint University Preliminary Examination Board programmes.

 

This scholarship guarantees successful candidates admission into the two hundred level of top Nigerian universities, providing a golden opportunity for students who might have struggled to secure university admission due to low JAMB scores.

 

Under the leadership of Professor Marcel Ezenwonye, Global President and Chief Executive Officer the institute is committed to improving access to higher education through its strategic partnerships with over fifty educational institutions worldwide.

 

According to him, Students who are enrolled in this scholarship scheme will have the chance to study in prestigious institutions like Paul University Awka, Tansian University Umunya, Covenant Polytechnic Owerri nta, Gregory University Abia State, Temple Gate Polytechnic Aba, Mewar University and Dorben Polytechnic, all in Abuja, Evangel University and CrownPoint International College of Nursing and Health Technology in Ogun State.

 

The Scholarship Scheme targets one thousand students per state and is open to Senior Secondly three students, JAMB candidates, JUPEB applicants, and holders of National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, or National Certificate of Education certificates with the opportunity to study in various tertiary institutions both locally and internationally.

 

Internationally, students can enroll in prestigious universities such as American Heritage University of Southern California, Global University of Science and Technology in the United States of America, Gedion Robert University in Lusaka, Zambia, and HIPDET University in Cameroon.

 

Additional local institutions include Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu, Havilla University in Nde-Ikom, Cross River State, Peter University in Achina/Onneh, Anambra State, and Eastern Polytechnic in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

 

The scheme also collaborates with various public and private universities and polytechnics across Nigeria and other countries.

 

Students who can present valid JAMB scores from the previous or current year stand a chance to benefit from this educational intervention.
