The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Silvester Ezeokenwa has called on Ndi Anambra to vote en-masse for the party in this Saturdays local government election to guarantee sustainable development of Anambra State.

Barrister Ezeokenwa made the call during APGA mega rally for local government election at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.
Political Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Barrister Ezeokenwa disclosed that the aim of the rally was to demonstrate that Anambra is APGA and that the party has the capacity to win the election in the twenty-one local government areas of the state because they fielded men and women of proven integrity for the election.


On his part, the member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Paschal Agbodike who expressed Joy at the mamot crowd that attended the rally called on the people of Ihiala Federal Constituency to come out enmasse on the twenty-eight of this months and vote massively for APGA in the local government election to attract more dividends of democracy to the area.

In their separate speeches, the immediate past National Chairman of APGA, Dr Victor Oye, former Nigeria Ambassador to Spain, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, the member representing Orumba South Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Chief Emma Nwafor said that the party will win this Saturday’s local government election convincingly because Ndi Anambra want APGA to continue to serve them as they are enjoying good governance of the party and urged all APGA candidates contesting for the chairmanship and councillorship election not to disappoint the people.

Others who spoke at the rally were the Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye, the immediate past member that represented Anambra East and West in the House of Representatives, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, APGA candidate for 2023 Anambra Central Senatorial District election, Chief Dozie Nwankwo, while presentation of flags to the party’s chairmanship candidates for the forthcoming local government election formed the climax of the event.
