Activities marking the sixty-fourth Independence Anniversary of Nigeria will commence in Anambra State with Jumat prayers this Friday twenty-seventh, September 2024 at Central Mosque, Awka, by one o’clock in the afternoon.
According to a press statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Nwabufo Nwankwo, Church Service will take place on Sunday twenty-ninth September 2024 at the Cathedral Church of Saint Faith Awka, by ten o’clock in the morning.
According to the press statement there will be Match pasts by the Police, Uniformed organizations and School Children at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka by ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday first October.
