The Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter has called on government at all levels to implement policies that will address the economic hardship in the country to alleviate the sufferings of the people.

The call was contained in their communique delivered by the Secretary, Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter during their 2024 synod held at International Convention Centre, Awka with the theme:” Grace Variable Transformations”.

Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the synod decried the high rate of insecurity, hunger, corruption, injustice in the country and called political office holders to take urgent steps to address the challenges hindering the progress of the country.

In his address, the Overseer, Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter, Archbishop Mike Chukwudum, explained that they are a conglomeration of colleges of Archbishops, Bishops, and Apostles of Nigeria worldwide committed to ensuring peace in the society and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the massive infrastructural development going on in Anambra State, especially Awka, Onitsha, Ekwulobia.
