Anambra State sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission Mrs. Joyce Alexander has debunked the negative thought by the people that Drivers are being manipulated by evil spirits and occultic individuals during Ember Months.
Speaking on ABS Radio and Television Programme Tonimas half hour in Awka, Mrs. Alexander maintained that what causes road crashes during Ember Months is the quest for Motorists to cover all the lost grounds within the year which makes them to always engage in over speeding, Overloading, dangerous overtaking, Unplanned night journey, driving against traffic among others and not evil spirits as being insinuated.
She charged Motorists to always obey road signs, in addition to ensuring that their vehicles are in good condition before plying the highway to avoid Road crashes.
Mrs. Joyce Alexander later paid a visit to the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting service, ABS Mr. Christopher Molokwu where she called for more partnership between the Anambra Broadcasting service and State command of the Federal Road Safety commission, in which the Managing Director of ABS Mr. Christopher Molokwu obliged in some areas of the partnership.
