President Bola Tinubu has submitted the names of seven inaugural Governing Board members of the North West Development Commission to the Senate for confirmation.
The Presidency announced this in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, titled ‘President Tinubu Appoints the Governing Board of the North West Development Commission.’
The statement said this follows President Tinubu’s signing of the North West Development Commission Bill into law on twenty-fourth July, marking a crucial milestone in the establishment of the Commission.
President Tinubu nominated Dr. Haruna Ginsau as Chairman and Professor Abdullahi Shehu Ma’aji as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
