The Aguluezechukwu Improvement Union, Awka branch has congratulated the newly elected Executive Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, Dr. Chibueze Oforbuike for his landslide victory in the September twenty-eight Anambra Local Government poll.
In a release signed by the Chairman of the Union, Architect Chukwuka Okonkwo described the election as peaceful and a reflection of the wishes and aspirations of Ndi Aguata in general.
Architect Okonkwo who described Dr. Oforbuike as a season administrator and quintessential leader, expressed optimism that Dr. Oforbuike and his executive, including Mr. Chukwuma Izundu, the newly elected Councilor for Aguluezechukwu Ward, will turn around the economic fortunes of the council area.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for fulfilling all his campaign promises to Ndi Anambra, including the conduct of the local government election, appealing to Dr. Oforbuike to always remember Aguluezechukwu community in the sharing of dividends of democracy to the people of Aguata for a liveable, secure and prosperous homeland.
