Governor Chukwuma Soludo has urged Nigerians to uphold sense of patriotism
Governor Soludo was speaking during a parade and match past activity to mark the Nigeria’s sixty fourth Independence Day celebration at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

The event attracted government officials and other dignitaries where the Governor first inspected the guard of honour mounted in his honour.

In his speech, the governor commended the efforts of the founding fathers who fought for the independence of the country sixty fourth years ago and urged the citizens to emulate their patriotism and love for the country to fulfill their dreams.

The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim accompanied the governor to the event which was also attended by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, service commanders in the state, among others.
