Governor Chukwuma Soludo has tasked the newly sworn-in Mayors and Deputy Mayors in the twenty-one local government areas of the state on rendering selfless service to the people.
Governor Soludo was speaking shortly after the Mayors and Deputy Mayors were sworn-in at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Awka.
According to the Governor, the oath of allegiance and oath of office which they swore should be adhered to, serving Ndị Anambra at the grassroots, irrespective of religion, creed, where they come from or other social stratification.
The Governor congratulated the newly sworn-in Mayors and Deputy Mayors, urging them to focus efforts on project Anambra, in addition to collaborating with the state government.
