Malawian referee, Godfrey Philip Nkhakananga has been appointed to oversee Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying showdown between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.

The match will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.

Joining Nkhakananga on officiating duties are Clemence Kanduku and Joseph Nyauti, who will serve as assistant referees.

Botswanan official, Keabetswe Dintwa will handle fourth official duties for the crucial Matchday three encounter.

Ghana’s Munkaila Nassam Adam has been appointed as the match commissioner, while Issaka Boubacar from Niger will act as referee assessor.

Nigeria’s Mayowa Akingbemisilu will oversee broadcast operations as the venue manager.
