Government, communities, and international stakeholders have been urged to take concrete steps in supporting girls through access to education, healthcare and equal opportunities.
A Former Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service Chief Uche Nworah, while speaking on International Day of The Girl Child celebrated globally every October 11, congratulated every girl child as they commemorate the day urged every girl child to strive to be at par with their male counterpart through hard work and dedication.
The day which emphasizes the importance of empowering and prioritizing girls’ rights has its theme for this year as, “Girls’ Vision for the Future,” centers on hearing girls’ perspectives and investing in effective solutions to help build a future where every girl can reach her full potential.
