Governor Chukwuma Soludo has signed the Local government administration law, 2024.
Also signed is the Anambra state economic planning and development law, 2024.
The Governor signed the laws at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia shortly before granting a Press Conference.
According to the Governor, with the signing of the local government law, the government will become stronger and more viable, stressing that it will ensure that Anambra workers can sleep with their two eyes closed.
While pointing out that several of the responsibilities of the local government would be discharged adequately, the Governor described the law as Anambra’s contribution to nation building.
