The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has called on young Nigerians not to lose hope in the country, but to remain hopeful, as the hard time presently in the country will surely end someday.

The Deputy Governor made the call at the University of Nigeria Nsuka, Enugu State, during the 49th induction and oath-taking ceremony of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the institution.

Deputy Governor Ibezim who congratulated the 364 Pharmacy graduands, encouraged them to see opportunities that abounds in Nigeria and leverage on them, and as well endeavour to contribute their quota to the development of the country in their various capacities.

Earlier in their separate speeches, the Acting Vice Chancellor University of Nigeria Nsuka, Professor Polycarp Chigbu, represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Professor Romanus Eze-Okonkwo charged the young pharmacists to uphold values that have been inculcated in them, and to strive to make meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.

In a keynote address, the immediate past Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Professor Charles Esimone tasked the graduands on hard work, innovation, and entrepreneurial mindset, which according to him will make them succeed and stand out in their chosen career.
